There is a lively atmosphere- businessmen on expense accounts drinking a bit too much, glossy couples nibbling at the high tables and legions of black-clad waitstaff swirling about. While the Robuchon global restaurant empire is starting to feel a bit formulaic, the food is consistently very good and the small-plate format allows you to sample more dishes. Try the quail stuffed with foie gras and be sure to order the silky smooth, buttery truffled mashed potatoes.
