amsterdam: romeyn tailors

Romeyn Tailors on Utrechtsestraat is one if best men's shops I've visited...
It's perfectly edited wares include sharply tailored Italian and English suits, slim shirts, piles of plush cashmere sweaters, well-cut jackets and cozy scarves. They even have a decent stock of interesting linen (so hard to find!) pocket squares.  Subtly dandified mannequins show off the shops wares styled with a relaxed élan. Clerks are helpful but not pushy, key when shopping with a man.

Romeyn Tailors is now run by the fourth generation of the original founding family and the business has received the Bij Koninklijke Beschikking Hofleverancier (a Royal Warrant), presented only to respected, important business offering quality goods and services which have been in operation for over 100 years.  So, if it's good enough for the House of Orange...

The boyfriend just shopped the hell out of the 50% off end-of-season sale.  Now, it's up to 70% off winter items!
